Detectives of Faith

While most kids were on a break from school, something exciting was happening at Casa Hogar—our Vacation Bible School turned into a thrilling adventure of faith, discovery, and joy! Even during the holidays, we made space for what matters most: growing deeper in God’s Word and helping our children fall even more in love with Jesus.

This year, VBS continued the journey we started last year with “Seekers of the Truth,” inviting our kids to step back into their roles as faith-filled detectives. Their mission? To search for clues and uncover the amazing life and ministry of Jesus. From parables to miracles, every lesson was a chance to find out more about who Jesus is, what He did, and how He invites us to follow Him.

With magnifying glasses in hand (and imaginations running wild), our little detectives searched for hidden messages in the Bible, pieced together stories, and found gospel “clues” that brought the Scriptures to life. Through creative storytelling, fun crafts, and interactive games, the kids not only had a blast—they also connected deeply with the truth of God’s love and purpose for their lives.

It was such a joy to see their eyes light up, not just from the fun and games, but from realizing who Jesus really is. Their hearts are being shaped by His story, and we’re honored to be a part of their journey. At Casa Hogar, even during school breaks, we believe there's no better time to learn, laugh, and grow in the truth.
